Salary DOQ. Located in the heart of the Central Valley, in Fresno County, at the base of the Sierra Nevada Mountain foothills, the City of Sanger is the center of a large agricultural area, and is south of the City of Fresno. Sanger is a full-service city, with over 100 full-time employees and an annual operating budget of approximately $28 million. Reporting to the Mayor and Council the City Manager is responsible for the administration of City affairs, plays a key role in intergovernmental relations and legislative monitoring, and serves as the Personnel Officer and the Executive Director for the City’s Redevelopment Agency. Requires a BA/BS (Master’s degree preferred) and five to seven years of senior public sector management experience as a city manager or an assistant city manager.
