Salary $107,054 to $143,463 annually. Money Magazine recently named the City of La Palma as the 16th best small town in America. Home to approximately 16,000 residents who enjoy the small town character and strong sense of community pride, the City of La Palma is an excellent base from which residents can travel to regional jobs and major entertainment venues. Reporting to the City Manager and serving as part of the City’s Executive Team, the Community Development Director supervises a five-member team that oversees planning, building & safety, and code enforcement, and is responsible for economic development and administration of all redevelopment and affordable housing activities.
